I used to cringe a little bit every time I opened my closet. As opposed to being a space to store clothing, it became a catch-all with contents including (but certainly not limited to): luggage, blankets, old prom dresses, and gum ball dispensers. I’d been wanting to clean it out for weeks, but given that the idea of cleaning a closet isn’t all that enticing, I kept putting it off. Well, on Friday night the procrastination ended, and 6.5 hours later my closet became fresh and functional.
